He looks fantastic!..Its a shame he jumped from blob man to awesomeness, and also that you have to cover up his anatomy with the relevant costume pieces. But looking great - a sort of bruce lee mouse rabbit chihuahua dude

Just copying what i wrote on Facebook cause im lazy haha..

Set my self a new goal of getting to post my work on Creature Spot so here's a tribute to my favorite artist on creature spot Aris Kolokontes. This took an hour and a half (i have witnesses haha) and was from a sphere

I wasnt trying to match the original exactly by the way (i dont have that much time haha) here's the original http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-_OeXszLcFns/U ... MG4101.JPG

Very nice, I like the asymmetry in the face, how late in your process did you turn off symmetry ? is this rendered with BPR + light caps?

I generally sculpt all the key features pretty loose with symmetry on then when i do a fine detail pass i turn off symmetry and do proper a-symmetric detail and the render is just straight bpr with AO and wax preview on.

Another sculpt of Aris Kolokontes work this one took about 4 hours i recorded a video of the sculpt but im an idiot and deleted it. I know that heaps of shit is off about it but it was good practice and i learnt some stuff haha but yeaaaaaaaaaaaaaa Here's the orginal (i was going off 3 different ref photos so its kind of a blend between them haha)

For a lazy person, you sure do crank out a lot of awesome sculpts!

Great work, pretty close to the original and the detailing is pretty sweet. Probably the biggest difference I see are the eyes. In the ref they seem more sunken and the brows more droopy.

Got backed up with actual work so haven't been able to do any thing and when i finally did get a chance i kind of went off on a bit of a tangent with the creatures haha this is a random 1 or 2 hour sculpt with a paint over i was planning on (over time) fully modelling and texturing him, rigging, animating and getting him in unity running around an environment hitting things with his sword .. based on my thousands upon thousands of unfinished projects it probably wont happen but it would be cool if it did haha also yes he will have hands ... big ones lol they just aren't there at the moment.

Didn't have time to actually sculpt any thing tonight so i did more of a paint over much happier with the design but heaps of stuff is still just place holders so yea the design of the individual items will look way better soon.

Ok here's tonight's version, finalized the design a lot more and fixed up heaps of things got a few more changes to make and little Nordic patterns to add etc.

still doesn't have hands lol but im feeling much better about the design now probably going to spend one more night on the painting to get every thing how i want it then model. due to the style i want to do the textures i feel that planning it out fully makes for faster production than floating around aimlessly trying to figure out what you are meant to be doing next.
