Hi! Everyone,
This is my first demoreel of modeling and texturing. I have used Maya 2009, 3ds Max 2009, and Zbrush for modeling, and mental ray for rendering.

That is a lot of models. Some are a little out of proportion, and many of the better reels (graduate ones at least) aim to focus on just two models but do them really really well. However, seeing all of these together kind of works for me. It shows a lot of time, and the volume suggests you may also be a pretty fast modeler for when resources need to be made.

One thing you are missing though... for a texturing reel, you should have at least one model where you break down the maps (diffuse, normal/bump, spec etc). It's good to be able to see how well you can piece together a UV layout, and also if you know how to give layers some thoughtful depth in terms of the texture quality.

Good luck with this one. If someone doesn't snap you up already, follow up with a sequel showing that one "best effort" detailed model.

I'd be interested in knowing how this one is received on the active jobhunting stage.
