Hi there Guys!
I've been assigned a Research on Foliage modelling and the main pipeline regarding high density foliage in Maya so I needed to borrow from you some feedback and/or advises on this if possible :buttrock:
I'm quite new on this, then so far I've been watching some video tutorials put together by Alex Alvarez that are quite awesome!!, but then again I'am still quite lost, and been asked for lots of feedback so would really appreciate any help on this subject
Thanks a lot Guys :thankyou:

Hey MarkG, are you referring to 'physically' modelling foliage or using procedural tools like xfrog etc?

Hi Laz! Thanks 4 your answer!
So far I can only use Paint Effects with Mental Ray for rendering, the research project I've been assigned is about achieving realistic foliage and optimizing the render times

Ah, I have very little experience with PaintFX and the experience I have had wasn't positive... heh. Hopefully someone else out there has.
