 Post subject: adding a reference image on a poly plane

i'm trying to add a reference image onto a plane using the hyper shader and lambert thing but nothings loading on the plane i know im missing something but not sure what

File comment: i add the file as a color onto the lambert

File comment: on the menu at the side where you select what image you want for the image file i click on load attributes with the default settings but nothing happens

let me guess... you had to go into texture display mode? (hotkey 6) that one still catches alot people! :)

lmao you would think that, and it would be something i would do too but no, what i didn't do i guess is equally embarrassing i forgot to drag and drop the lambert onto the plane

We all have our "Ohhh my god, why didn't I think of that 3 hours ago!" moments.

Good to know you worked it out and can teach the guy sitting next to you the next time he is confuzzled and save him a couple of hours. :)

Make sure you name your shaders too. It is really annoying when you accidentally delete a shader that is controling something you switched off and then delete it because you think its just some random "lambert2" you accidentally created. Then having to go back and re-configure it all later.
