Doesn't this post belong in the Help section? Or even maybe 'CG related sites - including links to tutorials'

Shouldn't you've then posted examples of Studio Aka's work seeing how you created this forum to help others?

Doesn't really make sense to me; I can't think of any images or videos of that description. Like, are you wanting demo reels that show off character design? Or demo reels showing off a 3d character model? OR are you looking for demo reels that have a 'kool' way of showing off characters design or 3d models.

If you were showing off character design, I would try to include the development process. Also just thinking of this, "Reference" if your finding reference for a character, don't find a character you like, model it, and just change the color of his hair. Reference should just be for little things on the bigger pictures, like reference what a pouch or webbing looks like. But thats my mind getting off track for ya...

Cool ways to show off character designs with a 3d model, you could check out websites.

Few good websites in there.

Clarity also comes first. Simplicity beats convoluted camera moves and fancy tricks everyday.

If you do want to spice up your presentation. Look up the reels of Eddie Hoyle and ...dammit chap's name escapes me just now, so sorry. the reel is golf guy and a little dog. help pls.

Generally when presenting model, I would bear in mind the following.

1) Clarity! (I told you it comes first) To me this means the silhouette can be clearly read in all frames. And if you wants to show wireframe the camera is near enough to the subject.

2) Shapes and lines. You work in 3D space, but the eye see a 2D image. Care for the shapes that is seen on the screen. First, of course, make sure silhouette of the whole character reads well against background. Then care for the shapes within the silhouette. Are they clear? are they interesting?

3) Shadows. One thing often overlooked is the shapes caused by shadows. Shadows are needed to create illusion of form, and if managed they can create some interesting shapes in their own right. But I've seen a few turntables that is ruined by careless shadows.

4) No boring bits.

Um k gots to get back to work.. Keep it simple..
