At the moment im trying to find as many on foot chase scenes that I can for reference and ideas. So if anyone knows of any movies, series (mini or otherwise) or puppet performances that contains a great one on one chase scene, it would be just swell if you could post it so I can go and hunt it down or even a link to some youTube goodness if your feeling super generous.

Its for a chase scene through some back alleys that Im going to be doing, so I dont really need the opening scene for Casino Royale or any Jackie Chan style kung flippery type stuff.

One series that I remember had quite a few cool chase scenes was The Shield but I dont know of any United Video or whatever that actually rents it out, has anyone ran into it whilst peruesing their local movie rental place?

Thanks for any ideas

I know Point Break had a reasonable one and I do recall the second Hulk movie had some running in confined areas. Do any of the Bourne movies have anythin decent? Also, Men In Black had that bit at the start with William Smithery chasing the alien, can't really remember it (mustn't have been overly fantastic then :P) but I know there was a lot of running... Oooo and Hot Fuzz, hehe. And I think No Country For Old Men had sum kinda sum'n.

ohhh what about Ronin? No wait that was a car chase...

3rd bourne movie had the chase across the roof tops and the incredible hulk had something similar where he was running away from the dudes... you know.... dont make me angry. Apocalypto was one giant cross country race but it probably wasnt what you were after. The warriors... sorta did...

In the Matrix (first one) there is all that running through the back streets and alley ways near the end, just before he gets shot a bunch of times in the chest and dies. Then comes back to life and stops bullets with his mind, then does that crazy time warped kung fu. Then he can fly. What a crazy day for one guy.

there is a foreign movie called "District 13" the main actor is constantly runs in the movie up walls, over roof tops, jump through windows the style of running is called free running where you mix combat dives, rolls and jumps into runing.

there is a utube video of these two brothers called " a brothers journey"

Every movie right off the top of my head has been mentioned here. And yes Sharpo, Ong Bak, freaking cool. I especially like his trademark elbow to the skull.
