Thanks for the ctiques dude. I do use references, esspecially when I draw. I completely agree :iagree: with the neck being to thick, although with your comment on the waist, she is twisting her body from her waist and I thought that the waist would be thinner when twisting, or have I possibly not gotten that message across visually. Again thanx for your input :thankyou:

the position of the chest and hips would suggest that there is a twist going on and you can use the abs as well but there's something lost in translation and i know where your coming from i'm quite bad at poses too

Hey Crosshair, I thought I would try help with this pose so I just did a quicksketch over top I hope you dont mind. But I find its easier to workout a pose when you do some construction work first especially when you don't have a reference. I find creating a stick figure first for the proportions then blocking it out with simple shapes. well my example is not the best but I hope it helps. For females the hips should usually be wider than the shoulders, if you want her more feminine then accentuate the curves especially the hips. wrist ankles arms should be slender not bulky. anyway I hope I was some help chur. Nice pose

hey crosshare,

I think that her left leg is still a bit far back. If you look at Wilkz sketch it lines up with her waist and the thigh is feels a little wide. Also, theres a lot of space on the right side of her face. Unless of course you're not finished with her hair yet, I'm thinking that you should probably see her right ear or part of it.

Keep it up
