Shes part of my exclusive google harem, so hands off Kenworx.

Cheers Sharpo and evoboy..I'll definitely revisit the lips (Then replace my original and everyone can wonder what the hell you were on about)..Hopefully fuller lips will rehydrate her? and maybe fill out the cheeks and rosy them up more.

Cheers!

I like the final result of the giant. The lighting on him is a little confusing though, I think it's the blue on his head, according to his forehead the light source seems to come from above and a little in front of him, but there's nothing on his nose. Unless, of course, he just fell backwards into a pool of alien blood... :P

You have some really nice textures integrated into your images, I really need to build up my texture library. What did you do to your snow flakes (giant image)? it has a rainbow ring on their edges, is this from a overlay or did you do something to the channels or curves?

Cheers Evoboy - I was trying to bring some of the color of the background on his edges (as he was looking a bit of a cutout stuck on the background). I was probably a bit heavy handed with it - might go with the alien blood theory:)

Hey Wikz - yeah, i do like to get out with my camera to find interesting textures - but in the end I hardly ever use those and just google what I need at the time (usually what I have in the library isn't specific enough. Always feel a little guilty using texture overlays but they always kick up my image when it feels flat (I'd love to be able to paint in that detail). It saves alot of time too. The snow was just and overlay of falling snow:)

Another book cover - this for Rikki Tikki Tavi. Quite a brutal story by Rudyard Kipling about a mongoose who defends some humans from 2 nasty cobras (who want to kill the humans so they can have their house)
