You've developed quite a unique style in your paintings. I really like how vibrant the colours are. Cool stuff dude!

Just with that Peter Pan image, he doesn't seem to be holding the sword. It's almost like the hand is just sitting behind the guard and isn't in a 'holding' position.

cheers worzel! yep, the good thing about doing these book covers is its forcing me to do a variety of styles (childrens books, adult gothic, etc) which is stretching me a bit.

you are right about the hand - sticks out like a sore thumb now that you have pointed it out.

Ha, I was just looking at your speed painting entry. Looking niiiice dude

One thing that's bugging me though, the shape of his robes make him look like he's skipping or something, I keep thinking he's got his right foot pointed as though he's doing a little dance for the demon... Maybe diversion tactics?

Great work Matt! Nice to see more stuff from you!

I like the "woman assassin" (chick with horns).

Thanks yeefong, Im freelancing at the moment - mainly 3d stuff with a freelance programmer that gets me lots of work. Nothing too glamorous - i made 200 different kinds of yogurts in one stretch for a virtual store (as well as making the virtual store), and even some animation work (if you can believe that worzel) for a virtual pet app. They were a lot more forgiving than worzel ever was.

I do a little bit of illustration work as well for a company that does ebooks. I did work for a games company and then a 3d training and visualisation company as well for a few years.
