The level 7 diploma will give you the "opportunity" to enter the degree at Year 2 (skipping the first year), but it really all depends on the quality of your work - you'll still need to produce a portfolio. If it appears that you have foundation skills under your belt (to the same level MDS requires), then going straight into the 2nd year shouldn't be a problem.

Could you post up your latest reel? I'd be interested in seeing it.

I think you'll have to contact MDS to get a definitive answer, but I feel like the organic side of your modelling is not strong enough to get into the 2nd year. Here's an example of some 1st year work:

First year student work (the original image is at the top, student work below it)

They take some character sheets and create an existing character, trying to match the likeness. Maybe that's something you can do to add to your portfolio before applying.

Also I think the texturing doesn't show enough variation. Your first shot and other elements in the reel don't show much variation in material. Such at at 1:20, the wood and the rock actually feel like the same material, even though you've created different colours. Rock and wood (and metal etc) react differently to light, and that's what you want to show. Doesn't have to be awesome, you just need to show you have that understanding.

Hope that helps!

i would also like to ask, if i apply at Media Design school at future, is it alrite to submit a general reel or artwork in pdf? also because my reel have both personal and industry project and is more focussed on 1 or 2 skills.

You need to contact the school (or the Admissions department) to find out what format you should use.
