Put forth your questions / worries here. I'll create an FAQ out of.. well the most frequently asked questions I guess. If its something is commonly misunderstood ill clarify it in the overview.

Cheers

Cool Laz, the updated overview looks good, much more clarified.

The speed modeling contests will now be held every two weeks this gives us the opportunity (time) to look into implementing more competitions.

I noticed in the speed modeling rules it mentions that time spent texturing & rendering can be included if we wish...

I'm assuming that texturing time is not counted as modeling time? If so, would this extend to fur etc?
Rendering time - I'm also assuming this is no included in the raw modeling time... correct?
What about rigging a model into a pose to show it off in your final render... would this be included as part of the modeling?

Thats right Lancer, just the modelling is counted as modelling time. You can go nuts with the texturing / rendering / posing etc.

Hey! You've locked the forum saying the competition's over... it's still Sunday!

I thought we would get until midnight? I submitted a model wire, but I'm just touching up final details for good looking render (pose, fur etc). I even said that's what I was doing in the competition thread.

Is there a certain time when we have to get entries in by on the final day? If not, could we make one?

Sorry, I just realised I didn't put the time of closure for this weeks competition, the competitions end at 8pm on a Sunday unless otherwise stated (or in this case.. not stated). What you have posted is enough for judging, however I do suggest posting your final in the Finished Artwork section of the forum.

Okay. Cheers. Was fun.

I was really trying hard out to get damned fur to cooperate. When you closed the contest it was one of those "but I'm so close" moments.

:D Tomorrow I'll wish I'd had a proper day'o'rest. I really need to revise up on fur.

Posting in finished Artwork now (before midnight wink wink ;) )
