This is probably a stupid question but we just post our wips in the work in progress modelling forum( aswell as concept sketches and stuff) right?

Now... I was just thinking about the earlier comment on modelling clothing over the top of the organic mesh. Normally, that is a bad workflow, but I just want everyone to know that this is not a production pipeline exercise. This brief is very specific and is not meant to lead to anything else (rigging or animating etc). So according to this brief anything you model WILL be seen, even if you model cloth over skin - the brief specifically states you are to do a turn table render 'showing' the organic mesh under the cloth. Everything you model will definitely be seen. So please don't opt out just because this is not the same as your usual production pipeline.

Thanks!! :D

Hmmmm, don't see what all the fuss is, I was going to model clothing seperately over the character anyway...is that normally unusual?

Depends. If your client wants a body under the clothes, you model a body under the clothes. End of chapter.

Oh and you charge them more 8-)

come on people, sharpen up, stop asking the brief. It's basically like one of those ambiguous university project. You don't have to know exactly what it is or exactly how you organize it, just figure out as you go.

From my understanding, the brief requires us to create an evil creature but don't look evil. I don't know how i m gonna do it, but i know i will finish it one day before the hand-in date.

btw the 1 year anniversary banner scared the crap out of me this morning since last night i was watching transformer with loud bass.

to majorhoulihan:
no i am not doing a mouse, everyone will be modeling mouse. I will do sth beautiful but evil.
