I've been making a few adjustments to NZCGI yet again!

Sketchbook forum
After a couple of votes, I've made a new forum called "Sketchbooks", which can be found in the WIP section of the forum. This is where you can post all your sketches and doodles etc, whether it's 2D or 3D. Just start your own topic and keep adding to it!

I have moved a couple of sketchbook topics into it - I did a test and found that the topic keeps the original url, as well as creating a new one. So if you've linked to your NZCGI sketchbook on another site, the link should still work. Let me know if it doesn't so I can update this post!

Speed Competitions!!
Yep, those old things we used to run until Laz and I got waaaaaaay to busy to keep up with it. But they are back!! I know, hard to believe isn't it. We have vowed to start them up again next weekend. You'll noticed the 'Competitions' forum has been moved out of the 'Other Stuff' section and into its own well deserved Section on the front page of the forum.

Currently we have only done 'modelling' based speed comps. But have talked often about "animation" speed comps (as crazy as that sounds)... so it is on the books, fear not.

The 'large' competitions kinda just sprout out of nowhere... so we can't predict when the next will be. It all depends on where we can score prizes from etc. But we love those big comps, so we'll be trying to get another running this year... fingeros crossed.

Thanks hugely for bringing back the speedcomps. I have my hands a bit full for the next months (even the weekends) but when I next get a good moment, those are the kind of exercise I really go for... short timeframe and tonnes of fun.
