Thanks Worzel and oatestwder. Haha neither had I! Thought I'd give it a shot, I have so many materials that have been given to me! Haha!

Anyway, heres a 'wip'. Was supposed to be a thumbnail sketch, but I went overboard. I'm currently debating whether its work-able and completing the full picture. I started it off in corel painter, but it was really hard to get the hang of all the brushes! So I switched to photoshop. Whoops.

the first one most of you have probably seen from my other tread, just thought I'd stick it in here to keep things all in one place. :)

Heres a WIP of a second one I'm working on, putting a little more effort into it... its no where near done, and I plan on pulling out some (more!) references too, although it is definitely NOT supposed to be anatomically correct. (I feel a tad bad for rushing straight into non-humanoid made up creatures, but they're just so much more fun than anatomical studies. )
Not really sure I'm preparing myself for anything with these sculpts... but they're fun, and certainly won't hurt my future study plans I guess.

Thank you Worzel!
I discovered Feng Zhus extensive list of tutorials today...
for anyone who hasn't heard of them: http://fengzhudesign.com/tutorials.htm
Talented man!
Anyway, heres a scribble from my head. Would have been more productive to do a landscape study, but ah well it is what it is!

Awesome to see you practising!

Watch your horizon line, the perspective of your foreground suggests it should be lower.

Oatestwder: Good point! I guess I didnt think of that when I drew it, will keep horizon line in mind for my next landscape!

Heres another piece:
The anatomy in it is awful, I think my horrible shading just amplifies the anatomy and makes the piece look overall pretty retarded. Oh well, I like hair at least!
Onwards and upwards!
