Hello! I'm currently studying animation, and would like some feedback on this animation work in progress.

My aim to to create a solid character animation which is appealing and matches the audio.

Hello Haybail! The 'acting' overall is good. In the first clip, the arms seem a bit detached from the body in some actions, as if they're moving too much considering what the body is doing. Also when he walks away from us at the end of that clip, the feet feel a bit slow, and lacking force.

In the second clip, the head feels too stiff, and probably needs to lead the actions more, and have a bit more overlapping action.

I think over all they could both be smoother, with more control over overlapping and follow through, and better control over posing. For example, in that second clip, around the 5 second mark when he says what sounds like "any" (sorry, no idea what he's saying there!), the right hand/wrist angle is 'broken'.

But you're definitely on the right track over all. Well done.
